Lwowianka posługująca się różnymi środkami artystycznego wyrazu – śpiewaczka i aktorka, reżyseruje projekt „Łemkowyna”.  Inspiracji poszukuje w starodawnych tradycjach i kulturach szczególnie Europy Środkowej i Wschodniej. Źródłem jej twórczości jest przede wszystkim muzyka tradycyjna, jednak używa też warsztatu jak najbardziej współczesnego. Ukończyła Akademię Sztuk Pięknych we Lwowie. Od 2002 roku pracowała z zespołem Maisternia Pisni jako śpiewaczka, aktorka, scenografka. Od 2009 roku współpracuje z Instytutem Jerzego Grotowskiego. Od 2009 roku współpracuje z Agencją Artystyczną Artpole. Aktualne projekty: “SOLOSPIVY”, “ULTRAMARINE”, “PSALMA”, “ALBERT”, ”PARTYTURY FOTOGRAFICZNE”, “ANTONYCZ W DOMU”, „ALBERT”, “MOZAIKA”’ Współpracuje z: Juri Andruchowych, Petras Vyshniauskas, Klaus Kugel, Mark Tokar, Włodek Pawlik, Ryszard Latecki, Bart Palyga, Jean Favro, Yulian Kytasty, Shankar Nair, Tadeusz Wielecki, Mieczysław Litwiński, Jerzy Kornowicz, Szabolcs Esztenyi, Alexey Vorsoba. Nagrała 2 autorskie płyty CD: “DOLE” i “NEBOCRAY”.

Uliana Нorbachevska was born and lives in Ukraine (in the city of Lviv). Graduated from the Lviv National Academy of Arts.

She is a singer, actress, director, researcher of authentic Ukrainian songs and ancient spiritual cantos which have formed her as an artist. She creates contemporary artistic forms within the theatrical, singing, literary, musical, multidisciplinary and jazz projects, either based on the archaic singing traditions or closely related to Ukrainian culture (literature, poetry). She also combines the traditional singing with her own improvisations in the field of contemporary music (free jazz, electronics), preserving its basic principles and essence. Most of her projects involve cooperation with musicians and actors from around the world.

since 2013 – cooperation with the theatrical center “Lavoizelle” (France).
